I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to use these abilities and then have them go off and not work even though there was no reveal buff present. Even when “The Prestige” does go off, enemies still have the ability to hit with targeted attacks such as bull rush and ride the lightning that were initiated AFTER we entered stealth. One time I even had a Necromancer chain hit me with staff attacks the entire channel duration of “The Prestige” while I was zig zagging across the open field.

No, you misunderstand … we enter stealth and then afterwards while running around during the channel people are still hitting us with targetted attacks. I mean, it is annoying that our stealth doesn’t break channels , but a freaking lump of dirt in our LoS can … but this is a much worse issue.
while you’re at it, please hotfix decoy, veil as well. Same issue.
Yeah very annoying to pop Decoy and still get hit 4-5 times after that like they still see you.
This bug has been around since beta. I stopped using The Prestige for awhile after an Ele chased me spamming fireballs that auto-targetted me for the entire channel.
Even more fun is when you hit The Prestige and start channeling without ever gaining the invisibility. I know I don’t gain it because I don’t get the buff from Prismatic Understanding.
Please “hotfix” all stealth break detection to NOT trigger when a projectile is in flight from a prior attack and lands.

Channel / animation breaking would be cool, too, but that should be saved until they fix culling.
Breaking the channels/animations are basically a buff to stealth effects, and while they would be a good fix, it would be problematic to fix that while culling is still /facepalm.
I guess this is the same for all stealth, since you can kill shot a stealthed thief with a warrior
Please make it so that we don’t have four different kinds of stealth. I’d like to be able to stay stealthed through stacking it if I need to.
Example:
Decoy is ‘Decoy’ not the typical stealth buff. It doesn’t stack if I already have stealth from another source. Same with the Torch ability.
Mass Invisibility and Veil, have the same icon, same name as a thieve’s various stealth, but if I already have it on, It applies another version of it. It doesn’t lengthen it’s duration.

- A thief can still gimp you if you Decoy/MI during his C&D cast
- Ranger arrows will still hit you multiple times unless you completely LOS them after popping Decoy/MI
- RTL does not lose its pathing after Decoy/MI

Well, as a playstyle adjustment to succeed with or without any changes on ANet’s part:
Learn what opponent abilities are channeled. The most obvious case of “QQ I was wtfpwned in stealth” is Ranger Longbow or Warr Rifle channel abilities. These will not be cancelled on stealth. Deal with it by interrupting the offending player or use your stealth before or after their channel, rather than during it. If the enemy is, in fact, using a channel when you just hit stealth, realize this fact and use other abilities rather than assuming the stealth will help. Finally, make sure stealth isn’t your “last” escape. Have Blink in reserve, etc.
