Im back from a loooong break from GW2 and enjoy the game alot!

The thing is I got some gear from way back that i think still is viable. All gear is berserker and some knight part. So no condi gear atm. I have rune of air, maybe invest in some new runes aswell?

I used to play with staff and Sword/X back in the days and that what om used to the most. I tried some builds with GS but i cant manage to play it good enough and i feel squishy out in the dangerous jungle.

So is there a viable berserker staff build out there that could help me do some dps and still survive?

Hi! I’ve recently come back as well, and found myself in the same situation.
Here’s a Staff/GS power build I found in this forum : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZOraV9CGdY (build link in the description). That’s how the pros do it. I think.

On the other hand here’s an atrocious build I’ve been playing with today (wvw zergling and small fights). I’m embarrassed to post, but perhaps people will suggest improvements. if you are looking for a Chronomancer build, then I might be able to help you! Gonna post what I said in another topic asking for pretty much the same! It’s a Power build, using Staff and Sword/shield, so should fit your needs!

I use this loadout when I’m doing WvW roaming:

So as you can see I simply use the same gear loadout in everything I do, and only swap a few traits around as needed, sometimes bringing more reflects if needed in PvE.

When I do dungeons and all credits goes to Fay!
But my build is amazing fun in WvW and it’s working fine for me doing Open world content, probaly not the best dmg, but you don’t go down all the time either and you have something to do all the time!

I can’t access those runes yet Amadeus what would you use instead?

@Zerosilence other people have had succes useing superior rune of Vampirism, so these could work out for you until you an get the Runes of the Defender!

Sweet thank you thats what I’m currently using! I seem to get stun locked my Daredevils though.

Hmm you shouldn’t be able to get stun locked by anything honestly! What loadout are the daredevil using? It’s a matter about Dodging/Blocking the right attacks, or using the shatter stability to avoid the stun!
