Guild Wars 2

I used to play a mesmer alot, running phantasm builds. Everyone talks about PU (no idea) Never about Phantasm builds anymore.

So I return to gw2 looking for a Phantasm build, or if they are not good anymore, whatever build is good for wvw roaming / pve.

I’m not a high level player. Phantasm build seems to work for me as well or better than any other. So, I’m running it until I get better. I highly recommend this page.

I was running 10-20-0-25-15 for a week or two. Use GS/sword/pistol with traveler runes. Zerker/Assassin gear.

Very damage heavy spec. Not really my playstyle but it’s powerful and very good in many situations.

It’s not uncommon to see the Zerker phantasm hit for 8500 with a few stacks of might.

PU is Prismatic Understanding trait. Makes you pretty durable and you utilize your stealth with it. I tried a build that Osicat published, power based 20/20/30/0/0. It worked amazingly well roaming in wvw. I was able to take out up to 3x 80’s with very little experience in the build. Try it, love it, frown when they take it away…
