Phantasmal Warden bugged
We’ve reported this many times through many channels. All we can do now is hope that the balance team decides to stop twiddling their thumbs and actually does something useful.
I hope we won’t need to wait months before they fix this like with iberserker. Because that was the reason i quit the game back then. I came back to game not long ago, and i get another broken phantasm. Can’t mesmers exist with all phantasms working in the same patch?
when a fix introduces more probelms than the bug fixed…..
They should just revert the change until they can solve it…
Or just make iwarden attack on spawn at its position and only after the CD behaving like now.
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
I hope a fix will come soon since i’m kinda waiting for it to do my new Mesmer DPS Test (with full ascended gear) with all the current DPS builds (30/30/0/0/10 – 10/30/0/20/10 – 0/30/0/25/15 – 10/20/0/25/15)
Bumping this thread since I think it needs way more attention than it’s being given, especially in light of the coming DE nerf.
To me, the DE nerf seems like a push to get mesmers to take on Phantasm builds in pvp… and one of the most important phantasms that we have in our disposal is the iWarden.
With the current bug (after Dec 10th path), the iWarden will often times just stand there after being summoned, during which time the enemy would have already killed my now-useless phantasm. This bug also happens quite frequently in PVE, making my usually reliable mesmer reflects to now be affected by RNG as I wait there desperately hoping that my iWarden’s attack and reflect would proc.
Straight to the point, iWarden bug needs to be fixed ASAP as we no do not need anymore RNG involved with our skills (confounding suggestions, winds of chaos, chaos storm).
About DE, it isn’t really a nerf (well maybe a lil’ one for PvP idk), look at the dev’s post:

It’s definitely arguable that it isn’t exactly a nerf… but it does affect mesmer gameplay for every type of build significantly. That said, it still is a push towards phantasm builds in a way. And iWarden is very much a part of not just phantasm builds but also shatter, etc.
Did it get fixed? I can’t get ingame right now.

downloading the patch. In the notes there is one ‘fix’, ONE, chaos storm. I will be furious if warden is not fixed. They got time to fix chaos storm but not warden? My god.

Nifty. Tests to do:
- Does it work in the dredge fractal?
- Does it work in the final right of volcanic fractal?
- Will it still simply wander off if placed on the tree boss of the TA paths?

Maybe I cheered to early. Used warden on different mobs that run and stand stationary. It seems when the mobs stand stationary, warden attacks are quite trustworthy, but when the mob run and warden has to follow, it sometimes still had the 0 damage out put. Sigh
My iwarden still doesn’t attack quite often.
I can’t believe that Anet hasn’t fixed it over a months.

I literally summoned 3 iWardens on the dredge lurking about the Marionette boss area. None of them did anything :/ Each iWarden was also placed on flat ground, next to the dredge (about similar height)
Y, Wardens still buged, just tryed they on Tar boss. 40% of spawns do nothing\do nothing for 5-10 sec. And boss stand at 1 place dont run anywere, but they still dont wont to attack him.
But ofc devs had so much other job to do like cof p1 fix, Chaos Storm and etc. np mesmers can wait a few month more Devs dont even answered here
And dat update every 2 weeks, and in fact for last year in permonent we have tonn’s of exploits and bugs, 1 new dungeon 4 new fractals and reworked Tequatl, 1 set of Ascended armor and weapon Huge content adds

I made a new thread in the bugs forum. Please post in it. I’ll be making a new one every Wednesday until it gets fixed.
