Phantasms, which one?

The swordman attacks as the fastest of all phantasms with a hit every 4s
Berserker hits every 6s and the warden every 9s (source: WIKI)

^That.
Swordsman is one hit with fast recharge, hard for enemy to dodge.
Only downside is single target, so make sure you cast it on the correct target.

Aegis or any 1-hit block will completely negate all of its damage though.
I think it comes down to swordsman vs duelist. There was a recent thread saying duelist = Dps is swordsman if you have sharper images.
I think if you can get more then 1 out then swordsman if not duelist is better. That is my personal opinion. Swordsman is more likely to die since it’s melee.

Single Target
- iSwordsman for your personal block
- iDuellist for a safe position phantasm
- iWarlock for safety for you and your phantasm or when there are 4+ conditions on the enemy
Multi Target
- iZerker good for trash, most of the time us GS only for phant and 2-5, then switch
- iWarden good for reflection and burst, cood combined with Sword 3 hold

Also note that iZerker only works on practice dummies cause they’re big, they usually only hit 1-2 times on most mobs.
Assuming you’re running both Empowered Illusions and Phantasmal Strength traits:
[1,931 dps] Swordsman
[2,050 dps] Swordsman (with Sharper Images)
[1,383 dps] Duelist
[2,066 dps] Duelist (with Sharper Images)
[2,358 dps] Duelist (with Sharper Images & Phantasmal Haste)
Assuming you’re running both Empowered Illusions and Phantasmal Strength traits:
[1,931 dps] Swordsman
[2,050 dps] Swordsman (with Sharper Images)[1,383 dps] Duelist
[2,066 dps] Duelist (with Sharper Images)
[2,358 dps] Duelist (with Sharper Images & Phantasmal Haste)
Note that Swordsman will catch up and is roughly equal with PHasted Duelist at max buffs, since Duelist doesn’t scale as well with crit damage since damage is partially bleed.
Condition damage scales with might and most other damage buffs are ignored by phantasms.

If the phant spins against the running direction it hits ø2 times. If the mobs stays still ø3 times and if it spins with the running direction or into a wall where the mob stands 4 times. It also depends on the hitbox of the mob, making it more efficient against large mobs. Also it sometimes happens that your phant gets crippled or chilled, making it stronger since it moves slowly trough the enemy (like getting rooted by a krait while channeling spear 2 xD)

Condition damage scales poorly with might, also bleeding gets often overwritten and is duration castrated against champs. However power scaling is better at the swordsman. Banner etc affect them too via your own stats. And don’t forget the double trait for sword!
You normally use focus and sword, and if you dont need a focus, use a pistol instead. But in general (! not allways !) sword > pistol.
