Plz reduce cast time on signet of illusion
Not really. It’s unviable not because the cast time is long, but because the cooldown is enormous, coupled with the fact that a single refresh of shatters isn’t generally a better choice than blink/decoy/condie removal/etc.
Signet of Illusions fits a phantasm build a lot better.
-iDefender combined with Phantasm traits and this signet gives it enormous survivabillity not only to the defender but your other phantasms and yourself as they only take half the damage for the duration of iDefender to the added bonus HP on them already.
-The signet can not only be used offensively, but also defensively. really need that extra CC from diversion or invulnerability from distortion to ensure a stomp for example.
-The point above can be of even greater use if you have for example shattered conditions, more condition removal.
-also the obvious extra busrt potential(this would be a waste though as 15CD is not worth a 90 sec CD)

I use this trait at dwayna combined with another 20% of traits to let my iWarlocks survive with their additional 80% HP the aoe attack of that statue.
Also I use it combined with the iDefender at wall fractale or somewhere where I have to stay alive for a long time. Dredge too. But all the other time? No way, NEVER! xD

All signet’s cooldowns are too long anyway.
Signet of domination is imo the only signet that’s actually arguably worth taking.
Signet of inspiration should have 25 seconds cooldown, signet of illusions should have 60 seconds cooldown, signet of midnight should have 20 seconds cooldown or have it’s effect being changed to something worth taking. ‘’blinding nearby foes’’ and breaking stun is alright I guess, but let’s say you take the distortion on signet use then the blind effect would have no effect pretty much since you’re invurnable anyway + if you want to use it as aoe blind with Blinding befuddlement then it’s still worthless cause of the internal cooldown on BB.
I agree the extra 1/4 second is weird, I don’t see any particular reason for it.
But yeah, the cooldown is the real deal-breaker. And the fact that Illusionary Invigoration does mostly the same with shorter CD. Perhaps if there were some more interesting Illusion Master traits, this signet would see more use.
Our signets are strange. Take the signet of illusions for the passiv healthbuff and you rarely if ever use the activ.
The only signet with its own synergy seems to be the signet of inspiration.
