Hey everyone.
How would you like a circle that only the mesmer is able to see that shows us what’s the max distance of our 2nd portal?

You can do that with the mini map.

Put a personal waypoint on the center of the mini map and start running. Max range is slightly greater than the distance from the center of the mini map to the horizontal edge, so if you toggle the map rotation and you’re personal waypoint stays within the horizontal edge of the map, you’ll be in range.

note: map should be fully expanded and fully zoomed in.

Don’t need a special circle or anything, just an “out of range” bar on the Portal Exeunt skill. (And a buff timer for when it’ll run out!)

Fully zoomed in map make it fairly easy but IMO the simplest thing Anet could do would be to range indicate the icon so you can turn back and place it closer when going outside its range.

I know some good tricks to get the portal range but I’d really like to have this. It would save a lot of time.
