Guild Wars 2

Noticed today while I was duoqing. Happened 2 times over 10 or so games. I went through portal and was instantly fully downed from 4k+ HP.. Anyone else had this happen?

No, but I’ve been insta-ported back to the location I was porting from.

If you jump through a portal and go from a high location to a low location you can take fall damage and die. I have had teammates get 100-0’d by jumping through portal. Likewise, if you jump from a high point and fall into a portal reappearing near the same height you started at you will not take any fall damage despite the fact you were just falling.
