Does anyone know of any videos to show stomping with our portal skill that is within the last year?
I used to be able to do it easily but had thought it was impossible recently until i say helselth do it on twitch. after spending time in the mists testing it for about 1-2 hours i can do it but it seems to work randomly. So am I missing something? or is it not a 100% for sure move?

sometimes teleporting seems to break the stomp animation for me and it appears to be a glitched likely caused by latency.

They made a one second CD between portal use as a nerf. But portal stomping can still be achieved 100%.

1. have Portal Entre set
2. stand next to downed
3. set Portal Exeunt
4. wait 1/2 second
5. press f or whatever button interact is set to
6. spam the button until the stomp is completed

Saw it about a week ago in sPvP, so definetly still possible. Then again that’s like the only time I’ve seen it in a year :p

It is definitely still possible. However as others have said there is now a delay between portal usages. This means you pretty much need to place your portal immediately as you start the stomp, or you won’t be able to make it back in time. I will try to put up a video later.

Nooooo. Don’t do this. You must place the exit before not after you start the stomp. Portal has a delayed activation.

I do them a lot in soloq for fun. Just play around with the timing of the stomp start.
Its like 0.5-0.8s after you put the portal down. I can’t really tell, I just got a feel for it now.

Yes that’s correct, my bad. I just tested it and the delay of about 0.5 seconds after placing portal is about right.
