I’m reposting this here because it really needs to be seen by the devs.

During a recent pvp match, both an enemy thief and Revenant (different occasions ) were able to use my portal to travel to me and kill me as I attempted to escape.

I wasn’t recording at the time, but I spoke to the Revenant shortly after they killed me and they confirmed they had used my portal.

Unrelenting assault can chase mesmer through portal
Nothing new tbh, been happening since BWE. Not sure if its intentional though.

Pretty sure it’s not exactly intended, but an accepted by-product of the coded mechanics for unrelenting assault that’s “working as intended”. If you’re quick with portal you can actually screw up the rev and dump them somewhere by making them chase you through portal, then you portal back.

Revenant used Unrelenting Assault and Thief used Shadow Step/Steal. 99% chance they were just screwing with you and 1% chance it was an actual bug.

As a revenant, as soon as you see that portal light up, you know that the mesmer is going to probably use it very soon. So you use Unrelenting Assault to chase.

potentially wiping your team cos they just received a +1 hard dps and you’re now forced to “run” back after decapping (more time wasted).

better to just 1 v 1 the rev, win, decap and port back to mid to +1.

But then ppl would be rotating properly instead of throwing the game and blaming teammates
