Hey im wondering if Empowered Illusions (illusions inflict 15% more dmg)
doesnt stack with Phantasmal Strength (phantasms do 15% more dmg) ?

Reason im wondering is because i upgraded my lv 50 gear to lv 62~ gear
& got alot more crit dmg (20-25 more & overall stats) & before i didnt go with
Phantasmal Strength.. still it feels like they still do the same amount of dmg.. (not far from at least)

Do tooltips update?

Don’t trust the tooltips. My advice is to go to The Heart of the Mists and try for yourself with and without the traits.

When switching off Empowered Illusions the tooltip do not update.
Ye i dont, since ive noticed traits taken effect on my necro without an updated tooltip..

Yes they do stack, or so it seemed. I tested in Mists and on average i was hitting 3.5k-4k with phantasmal duelist with the two and then only 2.8k-3.5k with only one of them. Both tests had the trait which gave my illusions fury, so they were critting a lot which gave a larger spread.

They stack, but they also compound.

IE, the second 15% takes the first 15% into account.
