you removed all doubt that it was anything but the clone by cropping out the source of the damage.

I’m not sure what’s the best part about this, quite honestly. The fact that it is literally a picture of the screen is pretty cute, but the idea that everyone wouldn’t immediately recognize what you’re obviously screenshotting is also rather cute.
I took the photo to send to my mate as I was logging off at the time. At first glance all I saw was a pathetic crit but I just assumed something strange had happened. If you check your combat log it will say “you hit —-- for **** using [mage strike]” so I did not crop out the source of the damage.
A guildy used illusion of life on me in a boss fight and it said that I hit myself for 15k!
