[PvE build] Berserker or Assassin gear?
berserker has the most dps. But if you lack crit feel free to boost it with a few assassins. It doesn’t really matter…
Beserker is better for general dps and group content. The reason he used assassins is because it was a solo record kill and the extra crit is better for the reflect damage.
No don’t… ^^
What are those builds, they make no sense for open world or in dungeons…
You should choose between a shatter build (better for open world exploration in my opinion) and a proper phantasm build with reflects (better for dungeoneering), not something in between.

Don’t? These builds are very nice for dungeons and fractal (any lvl), and they shine when you play in an organised group.

Hide, before colesy sees this.

Why? Because you see a GS? I rarely use it, I mostly use a offhand sword/pistol instead and well some time is needed to get used to melee everything, so a backup range weapon can be useful for some people.

Build one: Deceptive Evasion in a phantasm build instead of taking Phantasmal Strength?
Build two: Deceptive Evasion in a phantasm build, but no Phantasmal Fury?
Just to point out the biggest flaws in them.

For Dungeons, I use:
You can also use Ruby Orbs which are much cheaper than Scholar for a small DPS loss.
You can easily switch to Pistol and trait it when needed.
Utilities can change based upon the encounter.
While I don’t really like Mantras myself, I do use a Mantra build for Arah because Arah is all about reflects.

Edited the second one (yeah it was some quick change from the first one, didn’t pay attention). And well you can easily change the traits depending of the situation
And for the first one, this is mainly my Arah build and I take Empowering Mantras instead of Phantasma Fury for the grandmaster trait
This is similar to what you will find most people use within the top dungeon guilds for standard runs.
