With this knowledge and guide, you’ll get much higher chance in winning fights, supporting your team and obviously, godly kiting!

Thanks so much for these guides. I’m gonna be honest, around 90% of the mesmers I play against in sPvP don’t know these tricks, but I don’t mind. It gives me a HUGE competitive advantage and a mobility boost.

In Battle of Kyhlo, there is a spot to phase retreat to the roof(the pole) from inside the clocktower. Helseth has done it accidently in his stream

I’ll have a look around for it, I heard about it before but no1 was able to do it yet.

I started testing staff… when I was running in EotM, in the northest wall of the blue keep area, I surprisingly phase retreated to top of a small watch tower on the wall.

Would be nice to know all blink, sword swap, and phase retreat spots in WvW and in dungeons.

I think no1 ever tried to make a video about it, quite alot of work for research.. Cant promiss anything but Im writing this down for now (my channel is PvP focus)

I think there’s lots of spots in the vids that the devs lockout. Some of them you cant phase retreat no more.

This will affect multiple classes, but worst for Mesmers.

RIP Mesmers in HOT PvP.

Note how it’s more about vertical teleports, rather than horizontal teleports.

I think Phase Retreat will remain fine. Blink and Shadowstep however… :<

Kyhlo > Mid Point > Infiltrator’s Arrow to Mid Roof > Vertical

Well Thieves are going to be hit quite hard by the next balance patch, following the Chinese Patch Notes. But I hope Phase Retreat won’t suffer from this, though

Being able to blink up there so easily is so kitten good.

I haven’t yet tested ileap, but I’m assuming that also works up to the ledge? Will be nice to be able to surprise burst people who try to snipe from the ledges now.
