Guild Wars 2

Hello guys,

Before the 14/12 patch, I was running a balanced build of 20/20/15/10/5 – http://www.guildhead.com/skill-calc#mzmz0mczMmnLammnLamGGfaVzamaVm

I could use this build for Pve and Wvw without retraiting, but just change up some of the major traits. 2 things I liked alot about this build is Illusionary Membrane for the protection proc (many other classes gives regen), and the Mender’s Purity for the condition removal on heal.

But since the 14/12 patch, I feel that Illusionary Membrane is not as useful as before, and I was thinking of going 20/20/30 due to the buff to Shattered Strength. However, I will be losing the balanced stance (and Mender’s Purity for the awesome condition removal) that I have always been striving for.

For those ppl who went with 20/20/0/0/30, how do you manage with condition removal? Is Null Field sufficient enough to manage fights that will throw many conditions at you?

@Bob, Hi mate, feel free to pick whatever build you like but if you want to try a shatter sec for wvwvw and pve I reccomend “Shatter Cat”. Its well tested and extremly sucsessfull, it also is not a full glascannon spec/build but sill do alot of burst dmg. With latest might stack patch and Vigour buff the spec also do dmg as a condiosion hybrid without need to gear for it. It strong in pve solo wvwvw (both 1 vs x and 1 vs 1+npc and group wvwvw .
