I’d take domination instead of chaos for signet trait. I think boonshare is very viable, you just have to watch your timings to maximize potential, also 5 man subsquad made around boonshare(or with boonshare in mind) helps a lot.

No, you absolutely need chaos as a boon share mesmer. BD is one of the biggest selling point.

You also want to take seize the moment for quickness and share it with allies.

Gear wise, you want wanderer/commander and leadership/durability runes to maximize boon duration. Weapon choice, I would prefer sword/shield and staff. But other weapons can work as well.

Boonshare builds are worthless unless you’re actually running in a comp designed to utilize them. You need to be in a party of the right size, with someone providing the necessary boons to share or it’ll just fizzle with some bad boons.

It’s also worth noting that boon duration really isn’t all that great for boon share. SoI doesn’t use boon duration because it just copies the current boons, and most of the good boons come from guards/eles/revs, so boon duration on you isn’t super useful.

You apply boons to yourself, they last longer, and thus they last longer on allies. Simple, no?

Notably, boon duration hugely helps with Chaotic Dampening’s protection (giving virtual perma-protection easily), with building and maintaining might stacks from Chaotic Interruption, and it gives more quickness from Time Warp if you choose to use it. You don’t need any boon duration for easy permanent protection from chaotic dampening if you’re chaining leaps properly, especially if there’s a revenant handy. If you’re relying on a mesmer with CI to generate might stacks, you’re barking up the wrong tree, and time warp rarely gets solid use due to the mobility of most WvW battles.

dont forget with chaos line you get 3% duration for each boon on you. so its easy to have 5-8 boons thus 15%-24% longer duration

Only being a boon bot is uninspiring. Try to add other utility into build.

I chose reflecting focus. Temporal curtain is amazing, even more so traited.
