There’s 2 kinds of Illusions. Clones and Phantasms.

Clones are a replica of the user that spams Skill 1 of the weapon it was summoned with. Their damages are insignificant. They are easy to summon.

Phantasms are strong Illusions that are able to deal a lot of damages, but are harder(longer CDs than clones) to summon.

It is an old trait. Back from the beta when clones did some nice DMG. Now it is just a DMG boost for phantasm.

Mk one more question, crit damage bonuses… does that apply to my phantasms?

Yes. 15 characters.

All stats visible in your hero menu directly affect illusions.
