Guild Wars 2

The trait Compounding Power you can get up to +9% damage if you have 3 illusions up. So I was wondering if I shatter the 3 illusions do I get the +9% damage on the shatter damage or do i get +0% because the illusions were destroyed before the enemy player could be hit with the shatter damage?

From what i know, the first shattered clone damage get +9%, 2nd shattered clone is +6%/3rd shattered clone is +3%.
