Guild Wars 2

When I shatter (F1 – F4), do the Illusions go to my current target or do they shatter at the target which I spawned them?

For example:

I pop Clone 1 on Mob A
I pop Clone 2 on Mob B
I pop Clone 3 on Mob C
I’m currently targetting Mob D.

Now when I shatter, which mob do my clones go to? I’m trying to position/time my clones such that they shatter to maximize aoe damage.

They shatter on the target they were originally spawned to.

As a sidenote, Clones spawned from the clone-on-dodge trait in Duelling will be bound to (and attack) the closest enemy target which is currently in combat.
