Question:

Would it kill wvw or spvp to have some sort of movement speed buff. A signet that gives a passive speed boost and applies swiftness for example.

I spvp and i would never drop a utility slot for the above ability.

So would this be to strong and unbalance wvwvw.

I just want to run faster in pve, engineer has nearly 100% uptime of swiftness, and thief just goes towards the horizon. Warriors seem to spin and charge past me.

I use the curtain, and tag mobs to get clones out to run faster with a trait. End up zig zagging from mob to mob. It costs me a weapon slot and a trait slot which i then change out when i get somewhere. This is just annoying and can’t see a point in it.

How about you can pick up the critters in pve and they give perme swiftness. Problem solved.

Doesn’t this put you in combat? Which slows you down? The trait (by tooltip) wouldn’t return more speed than you lost by getting into combat.

Or am I missing something?

6x Centaur Runes + mantra of recovery can get you pretty much anywhere with near full uptime (esp if you open with a focus boost)

Nothing viable in sPvP, no signets or passive bonus speed buffs. Expect to always trail behind your group, or enemies in sPvP.
