Hey all,
This is a reminder thread to submit the bugs you come across to the game bugs sub-forum! It is hugely beneficial to us when you report issues found on Live to the Game Bugs Forum with steps listed on how to perform the bug (“repro”) or describe what is happening.
Link: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs
I will do my best to show visibility in each thread but I just wanted to toss out this thread to express how useful bug reporting can be after a major balance drop like we just had.
Thanks everyone!

Lol. Oh Sensotix. The whole point of his post was to remind people to submit bugs in the bug forum and not the class forums!

I know still i thought it was the faster way

It’s not faster. Powerr won’t be reading this thread. It’s a waste of time to report bugs where they won’t be seen.
The more stuff like this I see, the more I think ANet suffers from organization / tasking problems.
It appears to me that this is how ANet handles bug submissions:
1) All of the bugs are submitted to a central forum.
2) One or two people periodically slog through all the posts to see if the bugs are new.
3) New bugs are opened in their bug tracker, then allocated to the responsible groups (game engine, LW, dungeon, professions, etc.).
4) Then likely some pow-wow meeting once a week is held on what bugs are the new ‘highest priority’ bugs.
Seems to me it would be easier to create a new thread in each subforum titled, “Bugs in patch XYZ”, then make each group responsible for patrolling their appropriate subforum and self-prioritizing. Each group then only reports new ‘high priority’ bugs when they run across them and begins a mini-pow wow with whomever the lead is. This results in fewer, focused meetings that are more push vs pull and a better distribution of load.

oh gawd… I should think most of ANet’s QA staff would up and walk out if this were the process. Let’s just help Tyler here out and improve our process at delivering mesmer bugs to them since we are the ones who (typically) stand to benefit.
Hello dev, welcome to the Mesmer forum!
This is so scary :’(
Let’s all make a bug report each in their own separate topic in Game Bugs section to say that Illusionary Leap has been broken since launch maybe they will finally fix it then (Just kidding don’t do this!).
Why bother reporting? It isn’t like the bugs in the skills/traits in just about every profession are getting acknowledged, let alone fixed. In some cases, new problems are piled on top of old ones, making complaints worse while remaining unfixed (basically like spraying cologne on a stinking turd).
‘’OH MY GOD, A REAL MOD ON THE MESMER FORUM! CATCH IT BEFORE IT RUNS!’’

You are part of the problem.

Has only been the case since day 1 and reported so many times, I’ve lost count.
I love the sword, it’s one of my favourite weapons, but with the unreliability of iLeap + Swap on uneven terrain, it often becomes a liability. :-(

I implore you, enlighten me so I can become part of this ‘holy’ solution. Or at least, tell me more about how much of a problem I am when the problem-solving ball is not in our court.

The problem can’t be solved unless you put your ‘problem-solving ball’ into their court.
By refusing to report bugs/exploits simply because you feel like nothing is being done, you are simply obstructing any possible progress.
If you report bugs and exploits and nothing get done, then it isn’t your fault that progress is not made.
I see this as a reminder, that no Dev ever reads the Mesmer forum.
I nearly forgot that with all the red icons in front of our threats.
thats why they call for bug thread.. be respect.. maybe they dont have enough staff for that, if wanna donate gems feel free..
