Returning Mesmer, kinda confused
Hi fellow mesmers! As title says, I’m coming back to GW2 after a looooong break.
I have 2 questions: what’s the current state of mesmers in PvP and/or what builds get played right now?
The second question is related to PvP skins: I’ve seen that they merged all equips and removed the PvP crafting system (dumb idea imho).
So I was wondering, are PvPers now forced to play PvE to get new armor skins (such as this one I have)?
You can farm skins from track rewards by playing PvP.
Dungeon tracks come around every X time. Or you can unlock the track by completing the dungeon story mode.
Skins come from all over. Item drops, TP, Gem store etc.
Still good in spvp, good old shatter is probably still the most played build, though lockdown builds can be quite good as well.

I used to run a lockdown build with Staff + sword/pistol and using sigil of stuns (w/e they’re called), altho I’m betting it’s not gonna be as effective anymore.
