Guild Wars 2

I left GW2 about 6 months ago. I spend all my time in WvW solo roaming. I used to run a Condi PU Mesmer. Loved it. Jumping back into the game everyone now has ascended gear. As you can see I didn’t complete my ascended accessories and now people are running around in full accessories AND armor and weapons. I’m looking to jump back in and play catch up and I know it will take time but I need some guidance. Should I focus on completing my accessories first or move onto the weapons and armor?

Keep in mind I also have a power phant build set here with the following gear as well.

Truth be told I enjoy condi so much more than phant but if the condi spec is no longer viable then I will need to move on. I’d appreciate any guidance you guys can provide. I guess it all balls down to trying to find out what do I run for solo roaming. I have a thief, ele, and necro and they all have the ascended necklace so if moving on from the mesmer is the way to go I can go that route as well.

Even though many players are using full ascended, I’d wager the majority don’t yet have ascended gear (or even intend to, for that matter).

Personally would just focus on finishing trinkets and stick with exotic armour. If you’ve got the resources, then maybe ascended weapons – but you need to be 100% sure about the stats you want.

I’m sticking with exotic armour+weapons until we get some kind of stat change feature for ascended gear, either free in game or as a gemstore item – going to assume the latter as they won’t want to outdo legendaries.
