Yeah already went with Runes of Air, however could only afford 3 of them so far.

I still prefer full set with rune of divinity… I guess I always find it hard to trust on % to proc, maybe if it’s 30% it would be better.

It’s not 5% chance. You should read about the runes before you attempt to say you know what they do.
Rune of air= 20% chance to proc on getting hit.
Nice ninja edit Rich— but considering you get hit more than 5 times every fight you have a really good chance.
Like Nero say, It do proc wery wery fast as soon fight going, and also mabye Nero can help me confirm this but it seem to proc of condition applys and retaioation hits. I just MW ad player and did a sword 2 and got a lightning proc on a crippled player at same time.

I thought the popular exploit of the month was sigil of air + sigil of fire? or was that fixed.

God I really hate those runes with my thief took while to figure whats hell is hiting me for 6k but now i using it with my mesmer and loving it.
and each day i seeing more people with it.
I can’t confirm, but I heard it’s getting nerfed — probably because thieves cried.
Hitting thieves with air runes can conversely hit for 7-8k consistently. A nerf all around would be a very good thing. Smashing your shatters into multiple people could wind up with you being dead because of air runes alone. This would be a very good change.
That’s not incentive enough for me to get rid of my Centaur Ruins. In WvW I need that extra 12 seconds of swiftness every 15 seconds. It gives me flexibility in my off hand.
Plus I can’t think of a time I’ve had a problem with a thief other then if I was already getting beat on by others.
