Just answered you on reddit, but no, it doesn’t work. It applies after and Signet of Inspiration applies only the boons you had before the end of the channeling. Only way to share aegis is to use Signet of Midnight and then Signet of Inspiration.
Just don’t do it. Leave it to guardians.

Rune of resistance does apply the aegis at the end of the channel. That being said, the signet also actually applies the boon share at the end of the channel, so you’ve got two at-end-of-channel effects. There’s no way to actually reason this out without just going and testing it.
