guys i decided to play zerker mesmer for PvE and cant decide which runes should i take: Scholar Runes or Eagle Runes?

What build are you running?

Traveller > all.

I tried to run with guardian runes the other day (to see if one could have fun with a block based fire build) but without the speed… It was completely unplayable.

Scholar is the best for dungeons if you can afford it. Ruby orbs otherwise.

Open world? Probably travelers or even centaur, just to make up of our horrible movement.

Travelers aren’t that great in pve, more wvw roaming. Focus is enough for open world.
Scholar or ruby orbs … however I recommend ruby orbs, since the difference is tiny due the fact that phants won’t be affected by % dmg increases.

Also keep in mind, soon the runes will be reworked, so don’t spend too much for them right now, they may become useless, yet another one may become superior for the mesmer.
