Hello people I have been experimenting using different runes to see what effects they have on my direct damage. So far I found that although they affect my stats, I was expecting the direct damage to be much more than what I got.
The test was carried out on the Heavy Target Golem. The plan was to hit till it drops, but I found out some runes took longer than others, so what I did was to take the first 25 streaks from each runes used.
You might think this is wrong and I should have used all the values, but I found out that this does not make much different to the results.
The results shows what a lot of people have been writing about. Scholar gives out the best damage provided you never go below 90% which could be very difficult.
What was surprising is that Strength came third while orge came second. But when you factor the might duration plus the 7% you get from it would easy tip the balance and push it to the top.
The other surprising thing is how close eagle and mesmer runes are close considering Mesmer is power based while eagle is ferocity based.
