Hello all GW2 players out there!
I’ve been trying to find out about a human ‘mesmer’ dress for female. You can see a few elegant women in DR and other outposts in noob areas in Human place.

On GW2wiki they’re also saying that ‘’Players also have the option to wear clothing and are able to wear almost anything worn by NPCs. For example, a merchant’s garb or blacksmith’s aprons can be worn by the player, as well as armor sets of various groups such as the Seraph or Wardens.’’

Is they any possible that this dress can actually be worn by real players as an armor or is it just a ‘town clothing?’
You can also see that dress on Mesmer’s ‘profession picture’. That is my absolutely favorite armor/dress in GW2 and I never find any answers about it if they’re going to release it to real players or not!
Please, do anyone know about this dress?

Well at the Higher levels you can use Masquerade, Shows a lot of skin and probably won’t be you “Final armor” unless you transmute it, but it’s pretty funny.

That looks like it should be light armor since it’s not a trench coat or made out of metal but its probably just town clothes … blegh.

Nice dress though would look great on lots of Mes out there mine included.

@Winds: Well, it seems like it’s a light armor since it’s for the mesmer profession, but I dunno.. seems like they wont release it to real players. -.-

@Leo Paul: Me tooo!! I’m dying everytime I see a Noble woman walking in Divinity’s Reach with that dress.

@TehGFreeman: Yeah, I know that dress. I’ve transmuted it for few of my characters, so that’s pretty boring now.

@MastaNeenja: Yeah your prob right, I mean it should be a light armor since as you can see on the Guild Wars 2 trailer, you can see female ‘mesmers’ running around with it. So weird that you can’t get it now. Hopefully it’s not a town cloth! I woud LOVE to run around with that dress anytime!

If it turned out to be medium armor my Eng or Thief can wear it, but I would rather have it as light armor.

Its heritage armor and it is light armor. You get it for getting points in GW1 and linking your account.

This is heritage armor it’s what I currently use on my Mes, well the chest legs and boots I didn’t unlock all of it. It’s pretty hot though.

maybe the AC and CM sets suit your taste, bud go and take a look a those vendors, also Masquerade set looks quite “classy”

That style of outfit is countess Anise’ thing, which would put that armor set as Cultural, but sadly, it isn’t.

I would be fine with it being cultural, even tier 3, if it was possible to get somehow. As it stands currently, it isn’t.

It is nice though, my mesmer does want.

It was supposed to be just another armor set. And notice that there are slight differences between Anise’s armor, and the set worn in this video (skirt/pants, the shoulder thing Anise has).

Amazing looking armors, never seen it in any armor gallery’s though.
BTW Countess Arnise is a Mesmer, if it was real armor it’d be Light.

well well its been a long time since i watched that trailer, now when i watch it, wish the portal would last that long, wish i could summon two duelist at a time and insta-kill a skelk with shattering two phantasm, and more importantly the sound effect of duelist’s pistol and greatsword (and tey should change asura’s GS animation into one like in the vid/the human’s/silvary’s one)

Anise’s armor and particularly the armor in the mesmer skill video is just gorgeous. Please ANet, add the armor to the game! Make it an armor skin for the Gem Store, make it a cultural armor, make it anything! I just need that armor!!!

I have been wanting this armor for a good bit. I would also like the hair in this pic too
