Hi, Im fairly new to mesmer, I have been doing quite well in sPvP with a 20/20/0/0/30 build I found online with Staff/GS zerker shatterer. Im not lvl 80 in PvE yet but I wanted to know how do mesmers fare in both WvW and PvE with a shatterer build similar to the one Im using.

In other words; I dont want to be a veil nor portal bot in WvW, I want to be able to tag up people in WvW and stacks of mob in PvE, is a shatterer build good for these purposes?

Shatter would be ok for either WvW /PvE, just remember to take some heavy condition remover for WvW, also you can go with a GS phantasmel build for tagging.

if you wanna just tag people, then do confusing enchantments in domination (apply confusion when people enter/exit glamours). It shouldn’t have a target limit, considering 5 people have to enter/exit at the exact same time for a cap to exist. Also get less II and IX from inspiration (you don’t have to get IX if you need trait points) and run blink/feedback/null field.

You can cast feedback without a target, it does it infront of you, just fyi

Shatter build works in zergs, but be prepared to make room in your bank for your zerker gear and be ready to wear pvt/knights/cavalier
