Hey!
This is a PvE, dungeon question. I was wondering if this build would be any good in theory or if it’s a waste to combine shattering and phantasms. As I’ve tried it I’m using clones to shatter until the shatters I wanna use in the current fight is on cooldown, then I spawn my phantasms and let them do their thing for a while then repeat.

My suggestion is to run a 10/30/0/0/30 if you want both. Shatter does low sustained damage but its nice for trash and AoE. This build will allow you to trait up Shatter and if you’re in a patient group retrait Phantasms quickly for bosses. It uses Sw/Sw and Sw/P.

I would prolly setup something like this for Shatter

And switch to something like this for Phantasms

I personally run Knights armor w/ Zerker trinkets and weapons to give my phantasms a bit of a boost. Runes of the Traveler was the best 50G I’ve spent on my mesmer.
