Shatter--should be "instantaneous"
Since Alpha I have been suggesting that shatter should literally shatter like glass and fly upwards from the clones and then appear like a rain of falling shards of glass on the target area.
I don’t support instantaneous though … I would do like a half second delay of a red circle under the target area to at least allow them to dodge it if they are paying attention.

GW2: it’s like DAoC, but for the WoW crowd.
On one hand shattering can be useless in a lot of situations especially against an opponent who moves around a lot and is smart enough not to stand around by all of your clones..
On the other hand I like that it takes a situational setup to get that big shatter burst and requires more finesse and skill.. I think it would be pretty OP if you were guaranteed that 3 clone simultaneous shatter every time. ’
One tweak I WOULD love is that my clones target my CURRENT target when I shatter them, rather then who was targeted when I summon them or in the case of dodge roll clones a tiny rabbit nearby.
They’d have to significantly tone down shatters if they were instant.

i like the idea of clones chasing the enemy, they’re supposed to be a threat. RUN!
Since it’s instant cast and can deal large chunk of damage it needs to be dodgeable.
I wouldn’t even like if they all went for my current target (I can interrupt 3 people with F3 right now).
Nah, I like the fact that you have to think ahead and setup your shatter…rather than a fire and forget. An auto-hit Mind Wrack would be OP, imo.

Terrible idea. You get a huge tactical, psychological advantage to having clones run at enemies. In WvW I can cause a route simple by summoning a group of illusions and sending them at the enemy horde. It also allows me to charge in with them without fear of being targeted. If you’re just some PvE player then I can see your beef, but the fact is running illusions have more use than just the shatter effect.
Illusions running after the shatter command are also great at triggering traps/marks/etc, or even just to clump up to absorb more incoming projectiles from your target’s direction.
