Guild Wars 2

….but after getting a ranger to 80 I wanted to try a mesmer – and I was going to ask how best to level her. As it’s entirely a new class, I wanted to just level as normal with no scrolls or anything. Currently at L15, using GS / sword/pistol, with Focus for traveling.
Wanted to primarily work with decoys and phants and was going by the guides above….

However. Reading your patch notes, I have no idea how that affects this class.

Keep going if you’re having fun.

If you have any tomes of knowledge, use them as well – or get crafting and level up that way.

If you enjoy the class you’re going to want to have it at 80 asap, because mesmers will still live and die by their traits (although now we do have some good stuff untraited).
