I think the females have better looking armor in general for light armor, but wanted a hood on my cloak so choose this look.

I’m a level 80 Human Mesmer and was wondering what a decent gear set would be? I would rather not transmutate ( less work ), and I’m looking for robes and a hood. I’ve always liked that look and can’t seem to find a decent looking one for my level.

Not really happy with the dyes yet, but I’ll happily stick with my transmuted armor.

Here’s my mesmer. I like this armor set – I think it suits a human male character more than some of the more flowing armor. Just my taste I suppose. This is a model / action shot.

(I chose green armor because my server is green this week in WvW)

My mesmer, was trying to get a look that somewhat fits in the entire order of whispers style, while still holding on to the purple style we got going with the mesmer. Only thing that bothers me a bit is the clipping of the hood with the shoulders, but the dark color and zooming out a bit make it barely visible.

Here’s my lvl 60 mesmer, Bromoflexual. Chest and legs are T2 human cultural armor. The shoulders I got from a personal story mission. The gloves and boots were random pieces I found off the auction house.

I tried to color the outfit more “realistically” rather than pasting the same two dyes on all my armor pieces.
Dyes used are:
Midnight Blue – chest, shoulders, legs
Antique Gold (default) – chest, shoulders, legs
Matte (default) – chest
Fluff – legs
Earthen – gloves, boots
Mahogany – boots

A new look.! i wonder if i should go for the tier 3 cultural top, im kind of liking the feathered vestments however.

Not the final armor I plan to have but I just got to 80 today on her so just am going to hold her off with rares until I get my funds back up from crafting her to 80. I love Mesmer, she will technically be my second one but I deleted my first because while I love Asura their weapons are toooooo tiny Plan on getting legendaries on my Mesmer and didn’t want tiny weapons lol.

Changed her hair from white to wine, and her name. She is now Shynari.

Just made my new mesmer and think I finally got a look I’m pleased with. Tried to make him look as galactic/alien as possible. I’m digging it.

I think I posted a picture of my mesmer in this thread, but I have since changed her look. Here she is with T3 cultural robes, now holds T3 staff as well (wish I had the legendary). She also has a pink quaggan on her back, that you cannot see here. But she’s super cute.

My favourite character so far, in my favourite class, Anya Sholhij (yes, you have seen the name Sholhij in gw1. I figured the only way to get a believable Vabbian name is to actually use a vabbian name =P). I based her look on vabbi, after making a nostalgia-filled return to gw1 for inspiration for the colours of vabbian clothing. I keep changing the colours, but i’ve ended up with this so far.
