Finally settled on a look for my Mesmer.

Don’t mind the clipping in the second picture. =X

Here are a few screenshots of my mesmer. Finally proud to show him off now that I have Sunrise (Praying for an iBerserker/ilolCCerker fix)! I think i’ve done a decent job finding an outfit that is mesmeresque as far as male cloth gear go!

Redone my mesmers look today, what do you guys think?

Here is my main (and pretty much only) Mesmer.

For his looks, I’ve always tried to do “sharp-dressed nobleman goes to battle” without crossing completely into looking fey.

When I hit 80, I bought Zhed’s armor and fell in love with it, except for the kitten mask and the weird shoulderpiece. So instead I transmuted the named shoulderpiece into a Masquerade piece. I also created a disposable Necromancer and transmuted the mask onto the starting Necro headpiece for the “superhero eyes” effect. It looked quite nice, like a fancy military uniform.

However, it clipped with my long-ish hair and had some constant clipping on the back too (the chest pieces would clip through the mantle part of the shoulder piece). It annoyed me a lot.

So I went on a quest to find a better armor combination. Unfortunately, the named chestpiece clips with just about any shoulder set out there. But I kept looking and found the solution in the form of the karma armor. Amazingly enough, I was able to get it to match perfectly with the named leggings, color-wise. It also has similar square metal buttons, and a breastplate (which is good for “battlemage” look). See the pictures below.

All my weapons use the Glyphic skin. I pretend that it’s really the same glyphs that reform into different weapons when I switch between them.

Final recipe for the look:
- Karma chest
- Karma shoulders
- Starting necro headpiece
- Named leggings
- Karma boots
- Glyphic greatsword
- Paints: Black, Wrath, Brick, White Gold.

Here’s mine, might get him CoE gloves to suit his Peacekeeper GS. One day. :P

Finally got some new armor!

Finally got my asura kitted out!

-Mix of knight’s and pvt exotics.
-Chest and gloves transmuted to Vigil light.
-Dyes are a mixture of black and redemption.

Full priori light armor, except for the headpiece, which is the ghosty starter headpiece from a necro

Just wished the “named sets” were unique to the hero’s they are based on.

I used the whisper’s armor for a long time with different colors, I finally settled for these.

I only got the temple armor to transmute but after spending some time picking colors, it grew on me.

My Mesmer, Prefectus, making his way through the game

I noticed that starter ebony dye plays well with the skintone of my choice so I implemented the starter mask as an actual face of my mesmer. Since I was tired with a dungeon and high level armors, cultural are quite obvious as well, I came up with another idea inspired by the mask.

So behold the Dragon Rider D’jinii outfit. Featuring a Midnight Ice, Spitfire, Royal Rose and Antique Gold dyes on early Embroidment chest, legs and boots. Followed by the thorny gloves and shoulders. And… you’ll hate me for this… 3 pieces of jade weapons.

Bonus: Ulim Inat acting as Zommoros right hand :P

The shirt and leggings are low lvl (~14+) drops off mobs or you can find on the trading post. The shoulders and gloves, along with the sword are rewards from HoM (GW).

just finished Foefire’s essence. Quite a rare weapon to see on a mesmer.

I have all classes lvl 80 fully geared but this is my main and I spoil her with all the fancy outfits…
