man I waited sooooo long for this, since the 1st time I saw the human light armor I wanted it and now finally my Norn mesmer can wear it…

also, look at those abs!! kitten! it looks way better on a Norn than a Human

The glow is pathetic ugly I wish they made it colorable …

here’s my little mesmer Elana (it’s a preview… when she’s lvl 80 she can finally wear all that stuff i gathered for her :p)

Lol I had the same idea which is why I started playing a Sylvary Mesmer after launch
He didn’t make it further than level eleven though. Mostly because female characters have access to much more adorable and cooler armour.
Anyways along comes a pic of my actual mesmer.

Edit: I didn’t intend to give such a good view of his cameltoe. Really.

I don’t understand people who post negative comments about looks of armor. If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all comes to mind.

Why? Criticism is good in general aslong you are not offensive. I really like to hear a post like “ew that looks horrible – you should try XY” or “the gloves destroy the outfit” etc. Also you don’t have to post anything if you are unable to recive criticism.

Because this is a GAME and people are usually posting their pics here because THEY think they have a great look. If you like purple and I hate purple, I’m obviously not going to like your purple outfit. Doesn’t mean I have to make you feel bad for wearing purple. That’s just rude and uncalled for. Maybe people just enjoy making others feel bad for some reason, but why? I don’t get it and I never will.

BTW there is a thread typically in these forums for each race/profession that says “rate the look of the …. above you”. If you post in there, you are obviously looking for FEEDBACK on your look. This thread, it seems to me, is for people just to post their pic without necessarily getting feedback other than perhaps people asking what armor or color is used.

I decided Rose needed some color. I played around with pink and purple since those are mesmer colors. Pink won out, and I’m really happy with her new colors.

Until she gets re-designed (Flamekissed), Vella Absconditus is sporting her new beloved set. And who knows, maybe she’ll continue to wear the re-designed one as well. Never know, it might look nice. If not, she’ll probably go back to Cultural.

@Guardian. I think you DID hit the spot. I liked this the moment I saw it no joke. Why? Because it is so simple, yet very delicate, detailed, mysterious, subtle, and Mesmerizing all combined into one. I feel like you have created a look that says THIEF, but has this aura of being a MESMER. I feel like you are the best out of the last 5+ pages in my opinion.

I’m not a staff mesmer…yet, but I liked the way this looked :P Granted, the plain scythe would work better, but its the price of a pre… Would be sick if they made a Scythe legendary though. I’d be more or less forced to roll conditions…

I honestly like it. Anomaly alone is pretty bad kitten but it fits LT’s shadow very well.

Thanks. The chest and legs have a leathery surface to them that makes them very good for folks who don’t prefer the look of cloth. I may not stay with the CoF gloves/boots if I decide to move towards a cooler colored look. HotW gloves/boots are a pretty good fit for those that want this look sans the flames.

Also, midnight fire and midnight ice have secondary colors that show up differently on different armor. My whole set is midnight fire only and my legs end up being red/brown, but Whispers chest is really dark. If I go cooler, I’ll probably do midnight ice only.

A lot of good sets here on folks! Thanks for the many great ideas!
