I have finally settled on a look for my mesmer (give me a week and it will be something else).
This is my raid gear at the moment and I am very happy with how it looks, I did have a darker tone to it originally however we use Redemption as a guild colour and it looked weird having black and yellow and then the red eyes.

First is my dungeon farming/WvW set. Second is my roaming/soloing set. It took me a very long time to get the colors right on the first set, since so many colors would just clash. (Even if they all look like the same dye, it’s not. I only reused a few colors. The dyes would usually come up in a more gray shade with the first set. It looked ugly). Took the inspiration from a setting sun.

Remade my mesmer as a human female, love sylvari but I REALLY wanted to use this outfit and it really only fits human female.

Here is my Mesmer, looking for some new armour atm, but nothing jumps out at me.

Just got to level 80 today. I’m pretty happy with her
(The first picture is of my normal graphics settings, and the second is on the “Best Appearance” settings. Generally, I think there’s nothing wrong with the looks of my characters in my normal graphics settings, but in the second picture you can see some of the pink luminescence on her armour that I couldn’t see before.)

My mesmer, I absolutely love how her outfit turned out. Been using this one since the Trickster’s skin was released.

I’ve been looking for a good skirt to go with the Trickster top. That’s ascalonian dungeon, right? Unfortunately getting that would mean running a dungeon which I’m not very fond of.

Well you dont really have to, AC is soloable(also cuz of glitches..) so people selling runs. You should not pay more than 2g which only means a 25s loss give or take.

I tried with the student’s pants, I think it looks pretty good too.

I really miss more of the old GW1 mesmer armors which were more snappy & classy outfits than robes we have now. Leather is not just for medium armor! (but please no buttcapes.)

I like the robe look. Don’t like the look of the crafted exalted armor for human females so bought the priory hood, top and pants to transmute the look. Kept the original look for gloves, boots and shoulders (hidden now). Here is my mesmer, Katherine Swinford, in her new armor:

I finally got my Mesmer to level 80 so she could wear her outfit.

She’s still a work in progress and I’d like to make her look more warrior-like (the helmet makes her look absolutely beast I reckon, and it goes with the greatsword really well, but the helmet doesn’t really suit some of the loose/light clothing).

I’m going for a tormented-theme :-P

Still experimenting with dyes, and I’m not completely happy, but it’ll do for now until I find things that really suit the whole outfit. Perhaps Scarlet’s Gloves will make it look better! When they come out that is…

Not very mesmer-like and my coat clips through my pants, but I haven’t found pants that I like… but I like this composition nonetheless. ^^
