According to Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 a Catmage is a 100 year old cat capable of magic. So to match his name I made him look like one.

I haven’t been playing but I’ve nonetheless outfitted my Mesmer a bit. I changed her physique, hair and armor in the past week.

I found a look I really loved, so I bought a total makeover kit and changed the gender and name of my Mesmer. I’m extremely happy with this look and consider him complete now. I like the fact that every single piece he’s wearing is different too, despite it looking all from the same armor.

Hey people!

Guild Wars 2 was an impulse purchase for me after reading some of the lore on the site. I liked the idea of the Pale Tree and the Sylvari coming into their own one day at a time. I had never played the original Guild Wars, so it only felt natural that I start with a character who (lore wise) was just as new to Tyria as I was! Could not have asked for more.

Well, after I got in-game that is.

I was pleased enough by the character creator that I spent my first two days in Guild Wars without a character, testing out every combination. After hours pouring over each permutation and splitting every hair with every slider, watching/adjusting/re-watching the character animate I was finally satisfied with the result: an inquisitive dusk-bloom mesmer and Explorer in service to the Durmand Priory, and my go to character when adventure (or living world) calls.

In the years since launch even with all the exclusive new colors, facial appearances and hairstyles, I wouldn’t change a thing. Attached my favorite looks:(all un-retouched images of course, save for the crop)

Nice haircut Noodle, also liked how the blossoms on the hip begin with the primary color and fade to the second on that piece.

In addition to the first three, I have one other set that I ended up pasting the other pieces of the Zodiac collection on.
