Signet of the Ether: A bad idea? SUGGESTIONS!
- Signet of Shattering - Passive: Grants health regeneration. Gain additional health for each recharging shatter skill. Active: Gain health and recharge your shatter skills.
- Signet of Illusions - Passive: Grants more health to your illusions. Active: Refresh all phantasm skill recharges.
- Healing skill for shatter builds and improvement of Signet of Illusions’s utility with the penalty of phantasms having less health while it recharges.
Im a massive advocate for shatter play styles, and am a firm believer in using mirror as your heal. Now, I only really touch my heal for it’s reflective properties, and a heal if i get low, other than that i dont really touch it. Although this may seem like something that encourages ezmode mesmer play style, I’m actually quite interested in seeing how strong it is, and sustainability it may bring for shatter play styles.

Its a VERY strong heal. Compare that to Necro who must have gotten one of the worst :/
This heal if it doesnt get nerfed could be insanely strong when taking the Regen with Phantasms trait and reasonable healing Power

The Necro heal is going to be amazing for some builds. For tanky condi or cleric/retal builds, the passive alone is going to be great. ~300 dmg reduction and 300 dmg retal + actual 2-300 dmg retal is ridiculous. Combined with protection from spectral armor/trait and weakness is going to be one hell of a tank for pvp/wvw.
If there is no internal CD, for Dagger/warhorn dungeon builds, this will be bonus 10k dmg every 16 seconds just for the necro. Then multiply that by up to 5 depending on how fast your team attacks.
Please keep your whining and especially necro whining out of the mesmer section.
The problem is not the Passive, its the active. For one, i dont see why it should affect others. remove the group aspect and buff it for the Necro. Then you get what if they dodge the application, or dodge after getting it that is at least 2-3 seconds of it wasted. Then you have the CC which could waste all of it and thus…
…You have used it, lost the passive and gained no healing. Now if it was that the “Mark” meant that the Necro got all of the healing, that would be GREAT. I just dont see why when EVERYONE gets a new heal why ANY of them should affect teams (bar the Ranger Spirit) and the Thief as that would be a trait bonus.
Also, ONE sentence that states its alot weaker than the others (which it is) isnt really that much of a “whine” now is it….

Consensus means nothing … there was a consensus that the world was flat and the center of the universe (neither is true btw). Having a consensus doesn’t make what you are saying true or even representative of what the actual common thought on a subject is.

Wouldn’t you get more with MoR? 10 points in healing line and it acts as your condition clear too.

I really like the new healing skill from what I’ve read but that being said, I would like a confusion based heal that improves confusion specs (one that would make confusion specs more viable.)
Like a heal that heals the mesmer + heals allies around your illusions for a smaller amount + confuses enemies around them.
Or a heal that doesn’t only benifit phantasms but every illusion based build, one that passively heals us for a bit every time we use an illusion summoning skills.
Just a few ideas.
Confusion needs to complete rework. Personally I wouldn’t care if they just up and deleted confusion from the game and replaced it with Torment.

Necromancer Heal has already been nerfed into being the weakest heal They have. Increasing the cool down, decreasing the healing and adding ICD down the active part.
The Memser heal looks like it could be quality, Just hope that it isnt as nerfed before release as the Necromancer one already has been.

Hey all. I know there is another thread on this, I just wanted to make another one to compile suggestions instead of discussing on it. Thanks for pointing it out though, seems my idea isn’t working as I wanted.
