Well, I’ll admit I’m still pretty new to the game (2 months), but after playing around with some skills at level 80 in WvW I think there’s a downside to Signet of the Ether that should be addressed.

It’s pretty dang good with max phantasms, but I’m running a bunker build revolving around clones, so I’m always varying between 1-3 illusions at a time whether I’m doing PvE, sPvP, or WvW.

Let me just get straight to the point: I think that Signet of the Ether should count clones for double the passive heal than phantasms, simply because they get killed much faster due to everything compared to phantasms.

So if 1 phantasm causes the passive to heal you for 340, 1 clone would heal for 680, and so on so forth. This would make up somewhat for their constant downtime and make Signet of the Ether more attractive for some builds.

Clones have more HP then phantoms, doesn’t seem right that the signet would heal more for clones when they could take more hits compared to phantoms.

Also there are builds out there that use this signet well, but proper positioning of phantoms/clones and not shattering them left and right helps, gw2 uses a lot of position matters stuff, so maybe don’t shatter so much or summon illusions where they would die so easily?

Just some friendly advice.

p.s. we don’t need another overly powerful healing signet like what the warriors got x_x;

Signet of Ether is basically a wimpy version of healing signet. Healing signet heals my warrior for 400+ ticks every second including heal from adrenaline on full berserker, healing of the ether heals for about 1k every 3 seconds with 3 illusions out, 200 less than healing signet and clone uptime for 3 illusions isn’t 100% while the maximum efficiency for healing signet is always at work. On top of the warrior having 17k base hp.

Get used to warriors just having better versions of what most classes get. 100b on a 6.5 sec cd, eviscerate on a 10 sec cd while a phantasm that does a mere fraction of the damage of those sits at a base 20 sec cd or if its iwarden or image even longer. And most phantasms don’t even cleave.

Healing signet heal recharge 20 secs, signet of the ether 35 sec cd.
