I was looking to know a little more about the staff clones. I know that staff 2 produces a clone that casts winds of chaos. What I am not sure about (hoping to test tonight unless someone can confirm/deny) is whether or not clones created by dodge from the trait Deceptive Evasion will also cast winds of chaos in the same way? (and not just mimic the attack like the scepter clones)

Also, I was wondering if the conditions of the clones and winds of chaos will stack with the bleeds from sharper images. (e.g. clone crits producing bleeds and winds of chaos applies bleeds. Does this stack on the 1 attack?)

Let me know if anyone has been able to test any of these out or can give some feedback on how effective it can be.

Deceptive Evasion clones use the #1 attack exactly as Staff #2 attack does (if I’m not mistaken)

Bleeds stack from any source, so Sharper Images and Staff bleeds will in fact stack.

Deceptive Evasion creates clones based on your 2h/MH weapon and they will use the appropriate Weapon 1 skill. So yes, all staff clones, regardless if they’re from Staff 2, mirror images, Deceptive Evasion, etc. will cast Staff 1.

Scepter clones do in fact cast Ether bolt. They do not cast the full Scepter 1 chain and as such, never cast Ether Blast (that I can tell, not that it matters) or Ether Clone.

Likewise, Sharper Images does stack so if a clone crits, it will apply the bleed on top of the conditions applied by their weapon (swords = vulnerability, staff = WoC)

Do note that they do not benefit from Illusionary Elasticity or Condition Duration and potentially other traits/attributes so their conditions are easier to push off in a DE.
