I decided I would see which weapon would stack the most bleeding with my Sharper Images trait and I noticed that when using the staff I was causing Cripple randomly. I wasn’t destroying my clones, I wasn’t dodge rolling to create new clones, the mob wasn’t killing any of my clones so I have no idea how I was causing Cripple.

I was just straight attacking it with Winds of Chaos on myself and my various clones and causing Cripple. Anyone else noticed this? Am I missing something?

No idea, if none of your clones are popping.

What’s the sigil on your weapon?

Nothing that would cause crippling, but I tried replicating it on a few enemies just now and I couldn’t see any crippling. Maybe it was my imagination.

You generate cripple via chaos armour. It’s a logical explanation if not necessarily the right one.

Were you by chance fighting Risen?
They will Cripple themselves.

If you dodged and made a clone and you were already at maximum illusion limit and have the trait ‘crippling dissipation’ then that would have crippled the enemy on clone overwrite.

i don’t see cripple but i see that sometimes there is random fear effect under chaos storm.
