Anyone have any recommendations for a Sigil for a staff Mesmer? Right now, I’m currently using the Air Sigil, but I’m wondering if there are better Sigils out there for mesmers.

To give a recomendation I need to know your playstyle and spec. for me, shatter low toughtness burst I cant survive without energy regain on swap.

Interesting question indeed.
If you focus on conditions and have around 30-40% crit chance, bleed on crit will help greatly.
If you use staff mainly as defensive weapon, then Hydromancy, Energy, Purity. Hydromancy in particular is highly effective against any melee.
Good old Fire works good too, adding more aoe potential to staff.

This is personal opinion.

For something as slow as the staff, sigil of battle (will increase your condition damage) is the only way to go for me.

I use sigil of corruption on my staff. I have a condition heavy build and I find that my staff does more damage that my GS atm.

What do you expect to happen?
He says he has a condition build, so staff will output more damage

Edit: He did not say that a condition build outputs more damage than a GS DD build

I run GS and Staff. On GS I use sigil of fire. On Staff I use sigil of Energy. I am a shatter build so extra endurance means more clones to produce.
