How about having this skill feature ground targeting? Similar to thief’s Shadow Escape.

What do you guys think? The random teleport location is pretty terrible for the most part and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t teleport the full range of 900 units.

Nope, it’s fine as is.

The purpose of downed skill 2 is to avoid being stomped. Deception is the second best downed skill in the game (after vapor form) for avoiding stomps, as the stealth it provides can avoid an unlimited number of stomps and can only be counter-played by revealed.

It is not meant to get you out of danger or to port you somewhere safe. It’s meant to keep you from getting stomped, temporarily.

It definitely does great at avoiding stomps, but it would still be nice if we could at least have a little control over where we go. There’s no more annoying than teleporting right into an AoE. A quality of life change is what it needs (that phrase has popped up a lot in the last few weeks it seems), not a buff. Hell, I’d take a teleport range nerf for some control over where I teleport.
