[Suggestion][Illusionary Warden]
u want to nerf warden?
Could you clarify? I don’t understand what you are saying here…
at this time if you skill focus , if you use the trait. it just reflect and block projectiles.
i ask if it would be possible to block melee attacks, if traited
So the warden would block melee and reflect projectile while attacking
Would that mean blocking all damage from AoEs and any attack within the attack radius of the iWarden?
Sounds powerful given how long the warden’s attack lasts for (5 seconds?), but it could be interesting – especially as now Focus trait is competing with RI…
thats still not clear imo. its nice that u added that u want to ADD an effect not replace it. but should the warden block melee attack so it doesnt get hit? should it get invincible? should it take the damage u get when ur in an area around it? should it render everything around it completely immune to melee cleave damage (which needs to be specified too) and itself on top of it? its a nice thing to say it blocks damage. but the question is how? because there is no skill in the game that blocks melee damage other than an invuln so we dont know how to do that
Focus on mesmer is like a shield for Engi or warriors those class can still block for a couple of seconds.
But I didn’t recognize that blocking and attacking at the same time is pretty powerful.
However the chance that Illusionary Warden attack a 2nd time is pretty low.
Focus is such a great weapon, if correctly used. But warden without distortion or something to protect helping him while trying to attack is pure garbage.
I don’t mind if he get the condi and block physical melee.
Understand us please, it is a Warden. It is just logic to be able to feel sure near him.

I get what you’re saying – trouble is it could be way too powerful, especially if drawing parallels with skills like guardian Shelter or Sanctuary.
Maybe the warden could provide damage reduction if hiding in its attack radius? I dunno – I like your ideas but I think it would have to be done very carefully so as not to be far too powerful.
there is lots of possibility; They could assign the block to the first Illusionary warden’s attack.
We just would like to be able to rely on it at least once.
I really don’t think iWarden needs a buff, it and Temporal Curtain already see great use and are extremely good for utility (100% reflect uptime is nothing to laugh at) Our other OH’s pale in comparison (utility wise).

you just don’t know what you are talking about.
Due to the change on 23.06 if you use the focus trait; Illusionary warden is almost useless without Invulnerability on spawn.
As said maint of time, It purpose is to spawn in Mobs and bunch of AOE. It will just get stun, or daze or whatever and won’t be able to atack once. Sometime, you will not even see him appear.
Since changing trait is not that simple and it seems they are not willing to do it, Adding block on the warden skill (while traited [so it is not for free]) seemed, for me, 1 solution.

Exactly. A lot of people seem to miss the big nerf this trait relocation means.
