Devs while you’re still balancing the mesmer please consider making swiftness on temporal curtain stack, it would make mesmer a much better class when it comes to buffing swiftness for the party as well as PVE map exploration

In the mean time, try using Centaur runes with your Mantra of Restoration or a transformation tonic. Signet of Inspiration for bonus points!

I agree, I don’t quite see the reason for this in the first place. Same with veil btw.

The reason for this restriction is that the way Temporal Curtain checks whether or not someone has already received its benefit (so it doesn’t erroneously apply its boon again) is by checking if that character already has swiftness. Something may have changed from a technical angle, but this was billed as necessary to prevent people from stacking a minute or two of swiftness from one temporal curtain by just wiggling back and forth over the AoE.

I would love it if they could change it to apply its swiftness exactly once to any given character, whether they already have swiftness or not.

^ This is all I want. With signet of inspiration I could then maintain perma swiftness. I hate how if I have swiftness (from the signet), I cannot gain more until it has run out. If they fixed this then temp curtain would be perfect.

Still waiting for a fix since 2012.

This, please. Or just give us the 10 seconds of Swiftness on Signet of Inspiration as was originally planned.
