Maybe it’s the new heal skill coming out but I’ve noticed a dramatic ramping up of the number of mesmers I am seeing in PvP matches the last week or so. At least, at my (relatively newbie) play level they are now thick as, well, mesmers.

I was just in a tPVP match where there were 2 on one team and 4 (!) on the other.

I was one of the 4 and we got killed, though I’m not sure that’s because we were mesmers necessarily (though I’d imagine more class balance wouldn’t hurt!)

We may see a flood of new mesmers if this heal skill is as good as it seems it could be.

I don’t think it is the new heal skill, just the fact that we are so strong in 1v1’s and in tourney’s people might have rolled one to try it out. Recently yes, I have noticed an influx of mesmers, and wars (but that’s to be expected).

I wouldn’t say that its because of the new heal skill.
Instead just the fact that Mesmers unique play style is a lot of fun.

Although about the new heal skill coming out. I hate it. Can’t believe arena net is buffing a already too strong noob way to play mesmer.
Running around stealthing, summoning phantasms. Letting ai do all the work. No skill just passive play.
