The Phantasm/invisible build
Altough the Veil tooltip might be bugged and state it beeing a light field instead of an aetheral field (which it acutally is) the pistol #4 tooltip defenetly is not wrong. The chances of one iDuellist granting 9 stacks of confusion is 0%. First it only attacks 8 times, second the chance for a Projectile finisher is only 20%-ok if traited its 100%.
In terms of runes i would suggest going for 6/6 Melandru instead, since Condition damage is a weakness of pretty much Mesmer builds.
I would strongly suggest to NOT switch out SoI since pretty ~75% of your damage comes from phantasms, and if they get killed easyly, you are boned.
All in all this pretty much looks like Pyroatheists OP PvP Phantasm build with some minor changes. Still a not bad way to combine it with invisibilty.

If you trait into pistol, the duelist will have a 100% combo finisher chance.
Nice build its like you were telling us how op the berserker and duelist are together. I believe you stated they alone give huge amounts of burst.

they do, basicly you should always have 2 phantams up, and they arent that easy to kill, even when they do focus on your phantasms, by the time they kill them it gives you the chance to get another 2 up.
Also I prefer the duellist as if you stand behind them its basicly a shield against some oppponents. The berserker is a good opener for the cripple you inflict aldow good opponents will evade the first berserker.
And yes I admit I feel a nerf coming on those phantasms :P:P
Try s/s and s/p instead of the greatsword. The phantasm hits way harder and it has more defensive utils.
I tried it with s/s s/p I prefer greatsword for the range in duels and while invisible you can keep your distance from your opponent en still hit normal attack, in a way with GS you are more defensive with double sword you are more agressive in close combat.
I run phantasm build. 20/20/0/25/5. IMO 10/30/0/25/5 is not that good with GS, because since you are going to be switching weapons a lot, the less CD on blurred frenzy won’t really matter much anyway, while 4 less seconds on Phantasmal Berserker is noticeable.
Also I really dislike the idea of running with only one stun breaker which is Decoy on top of that, Decoy is an excellent ability to open fight with since it just lets you get your phantasms up easily and set up a surprise burst right away. I kinda need another stun breaker (blink) or else this will become a very dangerous way to open combat. I realize that you can use veil for that, but 90 secs cd is just too heavy there and you are still left with only one breaker.
I also lately been bringing Mirror as my heal, it does not heal much, but it has less CD, so it’s more condition removal and a lot of condition players rely on projectiles to stack those so that’s some further condition protection right there (besides seeing a typical moron ranger nuke himself down or overzealous engi getting a nice conditions bouquet on his face is fun).
I think Moa is not good for a simple reason that it’s CD is really long. A clever use of Mass Invisibility is much better, IMO, since it can both get you out of trouble vs several guys or allow you to surprise and steamroll a defender before he realizes what is going on and all that on a relatively short cd. Besides, it can not be avoided.
Decoy can be an opener yes because by the time you cast decoy and run through veil 2 times decoy is almost up again while you have your berserker en phantasm up, not to mention your leap and frenzy you can cast also all in invisble state, but Im referring to future battle that decoy needs to be used wisely and be considered a very good stunbreaker
Depending on the class, see above I did say to switch to mantra of resolve or arcane thievery. Decoy and veil is a constant in this build, the signet is not.
I am switching sometimes between MOA and mass invisible and yes I know of the huge CD on MOA that is why you have to watch there boons and cast it right, to put in simple never miss.
Mass invisible is also a very notable cast and can be interrupted, not saying MOA cant but see above I said to use pistol 5 then MOA in combination,
I do like the change of heal but its also very depended on condition based classes or pure burst classes. I just dont like sacrificing veil decoy as the whole point is to stay invisible in this build as long as you can while doing massive burst from the start.
