As a mesmer I’m happy with the changes, and think they were a great change for all mesmers.

For the amount of neglect wvw has had in the past, I think this is a good thing.

Yeah, because wvw has received so much attention in these 4 years…

To be fair, this would be a really good general thing but if they wanted to commit to WvW as their main PvP avenue (DAoC showed how viable this is) they’d need a fair few more reworks, not just a nerf to SoI. And some underlying combat changes so that the WvW class-roles work in PvE.

As someone who only plays the endgame content (WvW)…I’m happy. Finally getting some attention.

I’m personally happy with the changes. Mesmers still have best Quickness output, group stealth, on top of having exclusivity over Alacrity.

As I’ve been saying on Reddit, Mesmers don’t have much to complain about as far as losing group slots. It’s all the folks competing against Eles for the four DPS slots who should be kittened.

Actually I wish they had nerfed us enough to kick us out of the meta entirely. This has to become really ugly I think, and I’m thinking 2 Druids + 8 Eles ugly, before anyone on the dev team will even notice.

It could be 10 Eles and nobody on the dev team would notice. They’re simply not capable of thinking things through beyond “Thing Strong, Make Thing Less Strong”.

Yeah but… we have tons of powercreep. Honestly we could do with a lot of nerfs, but to overall power output and damage numbers. Not to specific comparatively small details like boon spreading.

Mesmer doesn’t need any more nerfs. Portal was nerfed to oblivion a while back, Moa was nerfed by a kittenton, alacrity was gutted, WoP was nerfed hard, SoI was just nerfed hard. What mesmer needs is more buffs. Buffs to our underused utilitys. Buffs to a lot of our traits (well a whole trait rework is needed), buffs to the rest of our weapons. And real buffs to our weapons mind you, the kind that thief and other classes got, not this 6% buff to the 2 weakest hits on an autoattack chain.

100% added damage to BF was the only true damage buff we got, and its kittening amazing so far. That is what we need on the rest of our weapons

No I meant overall. Not mesmer-wide, game-wide.
