Guild Wars 2

So I finally hit lvl 80 and got my exotic gear etc etc.. but I cant decide where to put my last 10 trait points. I love the build I am running (Much like the MSS build by Nevhie – with my own twist) but would really appreciate some feedback on how to best finish it up!

My initial thought was:

1) – 10 points in Illusions and then pick up (X) – Phantasms recharge 20% faster

2) – 10 points in Dueling and pick up (II) – Phantasm fury

3) – 10 points in Inspiration and pick up (V) Persisting Images

Wish i could know what ur playstyle is.. But Let me guess 1st with that link u give to me it’s like 1/3Shooter 1/3 Shatter 1/3 Confusion Build. U are equiped with Mirror Image (2x Clones at once), Have around 350 Condi build. My advice would be… This gonna make ur confuse stronger.

20 point total on SPecial trait line and pick
Confusing Cry
“Cry of Frustration grants retaliation. "
Since u are shatter often and have condi damage. I assume u like to F2. With ur 20pts on ATK trait. The retaliation will be nice. Each Clone give 5sec. So 15sec reta every 30sec.

Master of Misdirection
“Confusion you inflict lasts 33% longer. "
With Lv 15 Special Trait "All shatter skills inflict confusion. " This trait will good.

If u want pure Atk and Crit damage. Go for lv 30 Critikal Trait and pick “Phantasm Have Fury” Only a few can survive from iBerserker + iSwordman when Summoned together..

Looks like he’s running null field, I’d put all 10 in illusions and get confusing cry, or 5 illusion 5 dueling for confusing combatants and illusionary retribution. Even if you’re not running a condition build, those couple extra ways of adding confusion stacks/retaliation are >> 1 condition remove on heal imo.

Thanks for great response guys! TBH I run a 50/50 shooter – shatter build! The condition is “just there”! =P… though really handy in WvW and dungeon runs!

The Master of Misdirection seems right up my ally, and think Ill start off with that! As I get more comfortable with my mesmer game – my timing on the shatter gets better and that traitline pick kinda forces me to use shatters even more thoughtfully.

Quick Q to you Nevhie: What stats do you like on you 1H swords? Up to now i have been going for Power – Crit – Condi but were thinking about changing it into more survivability? Power – though – vita?

Umm.. It’s depend on ur Armor. For me. I put all my “Defensive” stat on Clothes and Leggings coz both of them give less Crit damage. GS Berserker And [Soldier Clothes + Leggings] vs GS Soldier And [Berserker Clothes + Leggings] are like -8def, -8 VIT but +1% Crit damage if i;m not mistaken. Yes.. I’m crit damage maniac :X
