[Theory Crafting]The New WvW Map for Mesmer
I don’t see why Signet of Inspiration wouldn’t work for stability, but I haven’t tested it. It would be kind of odd if it worked differently for one boon.
Yes signit of inspiration shares the mesmers stability stacks, doubling the parties stacks. Few problems though.
- 1 Mesmer for every 4 other players is just bad. Might aswell bring another guard for more stability application.
- Mesmer players arent bountiful to begin with.
- Necro’s are still the real problem. Corrupt boons destroys all.
- Zergs can already stack to 25 stabos for a push. The trouble is 25 stacks is gone in a couple seconds.
- Veil’s already had a place in pushes. It doesn’t actually change anything, nice as that might be.
Initially I thought Mes might bring some cool stuff to the HoT field. After thinking about it for a bit, with the exception of portal to bypass chokes etc, it’s just going to be same old same old. Specializations are the only hope for change.

Feedback may get a lot more play, but that’s about it. The much hyped “verticality” is going to make our need for direct LOS on most of our skills even more painful.
ANet doesn’t consider us anything more than an intelligent extra utility bar for the rest of the professions.

Signet of Inspiration has 45 seconds cooldown, Stand Your Ground traited is 24s iirc. So it’s a really poor way of doubling your stacks if you consider popping only 1 SYG per push.
